Livescan Fingerprinting
Willits Unified School District offers Certifix Live Scan fingerprinting services that are available to the public. Live Scan has the ability to digitally transmit your fingerprints to the Department of Justice.
Services offered Tuesday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, if time permits. If time does not permit, an appointment can be made. You can also make an appointment ahead of time if you wish to confirm your time slot at 707-459-5314 ext. 1101 or 1104. The Live Scan process typically takes around 20 minutes to complete.
What you will need:
Valid ID
Provide one of the following forms of identification:
- A current and valid California Driver’s License or California Identification Card
- A current and valid Out of State Driver’s License
- A Passport
Military ID Card (with acceptable secondary forms of identification)
*A “Request for Live Scan” form must be completed prior to fingerprinting. These forms are obtained from the employing agency.
Fees
*$32.00 DOJ fee for Volunteering or Employment through WUSD. If you have a form from another organization, you will not need to pay this fee unless the form does not have a billing code and directs us to collect the $32.00 fee.
Willits Unified School District charges a rolling fee of $28.00 for Live Scan Services. This fee is in addition to any DOJ or FBI fees that may apply. The current fees assessed are:
- FBI: $15.00-$17.00
- Child Abuse Index: $15.00
- Firearm: $19.00
Payment
Forms of accepted payment: cash, please bring exact change, check, or money order. We currently are not able to accept credit card payments.
