Sherwood Families, tomorrow 12/17 we are going to Northbrook to sing to the Residents. We will leave Sherwood at 9:00 a.m. and return at 10:30 a.m.. Wednesday is our Ice Skating field trip, the afternoon student pick-up will be at the City park. You are Invited to Sherwood Friday at 12:45 for our Winter Performance. Winter break will start on December 23rd and go through Jan. 3rd. Thank you

Hello Sherwood, It's hard to believe December is half over already. I wanted to remind you that next Tuesday,12/17 Is NOT a minimum day, Friday, 12/22, will be our minimum day for that week. Our Winter break begins on 12/25 and goes through 1/3. We will return to school on 1/6/25. Thank you

Dear Sherwood Families, This is a reminder that our Costume Parade will take place tomorrow at 8:45 AM. Please send extra clothes with your child in case they would like to change after the parade. Additionally, please note that Friday, November 1st, is a Non-Attendance Day, so there will be no school. Enjoy your 3-day weekend! If you would like to come and watch the parade, it will last for approximately 45 minutes, starting at 8:45 AM. Thank you!

A reminder for Sherwood Families, Friday, October 18th is our Field Trip to J&J Pumpkin Patch. We will have an early lunch here at Sherwood School before we leave at 11:30 for the Field Trip. Pick-up will be at the City Park at 2:30. There will be no Afternoon Bus drop off other than at the City Park. Thank-you

If you are purchasing a Picture packet please send your money tomorrow. Our first FOSSI meeting will be held tomorrow at 2:45 at Sherwood School. We will continue to have our FOSSI meetings on the first Thursday of each month at 2:45. All Family Heritage Items are due Friday, September 6th. We hope you have a wonderful weekend and we will see you all back at School on Tuesday. Wednesday the 4th is our first Library trip to the Willits Library. Hello Sherwood Families, I am so happy to be the new Secretary at Sherwood School. I'm enjoying getting to know your Children. Here are a few things happening the first week in September. Our first trip to the Willits Library will be September 4th. Please be sure and turn in the Library permission slip form that was handed out to the Students. Picture Day is September 5th. Please send money on Picture Day to pay for your packet. Thank you

Sherwood parents our first Library trip this year will be on September 4th. We will take a Bus to the Library on the first Wednesday of each month. Your child will be bringing home a permission slip this week allowing them to ride the bus to and from the Library, this will be good for the whole school year, please sign and send it back to the office. Thank you

Good evening Sherwood Families. Today was a great start to the school year. Please remember to check your students backpack. Lots of important papers were sent home today. Please review these and return them to your teacher. We also ask that you sign into your Aeries Parent Portal. This must be done yearly to update authorizations for your student. Tomorrow is our first early release day of the year. School will get out at 1:30 p.m. The school bus will be running on it's early day scheduled. Thank you and have a good evening.

Hello Sherwood Families. We are officially back in the office and are ready to help you with all of your start of the school year needs. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you are a kindergarten parent, know that your student's enrollment is not complete until you have signed your registration form and turned in your student's immunization and birth certificate. If you still need to do this, please call or stop by the office. This must be completed before the first day of school. Kindergarten orientation will be held on Wednesday the 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in room 2. Important reminder: Due to safety concerns, Kindergarten students may not ride the school bus to and from school for the first two weeks. Please arrange other transportation during this time. The first day of school is this coming Monday, August 19th. We will be holding a welcome circle at 8:30 a.m. around the flag pole. Parents are welcome to join us! We hope to see you all there!
