Hello Sherwood Families, I have certainly appreciated your patience during these unprecedented storms and the amount of snow that we have received at the school site. We have been trying each day to get the site open and each day we encounter another storm and/or unsafe icy road conditions. I consider myself to always be transparent and accountable, frankly I thought we would be able to get open last week. I miscalculated and for that I apologize. I am sure that many of you are concerned about our students being away from their learning environment for an extended amount of time and I completely agree with you. I am working on a plan for an alternate site in town and we are working to clear the significant amount of snow dropped last night on the site. Thank you again and I hope that the sun stays out, and we get some rain. I also hope that all of you are safe. Thank you, Mr. Beebe

Hello Sherwood families. We have had additional Covid 19 cases reported in Ms. Julie's K-2nd Grade class. Ms. Lisa's 3rd-5th grade class has several First and Secondary Exposures to Covid. We are highly recommending and encouraging both testing and mask wearing in these classrooms. If you would like to have your student tested today, please call the office at 707-984-6769. We will have testing available in the school office daily in the mornings for this week. We are asking all families to please screen your students before sending them to school. Students who have symptoms should stay home and are highly recommended to take a Covid test before returning to school. We have take home Covid tests available in the office for your family. Thank you for working together to keep our school community safe.

Good Evening Sherwood Families. We have unfortunately had more positive cases of Covid-19 reported to us in Ms. Julie's K-2nd Grade class. Due to the increasing number of cases in this classroom, Public Health has mandated testing of all students in Ms. Julie's class during this time. Students will also need to mask for a period of 10 days while in the classroom. We will be testing all students in this class tomorrow morning and again on Friday morning. Any family who does not wish to have their student tested, please contact the school office. We will begin testing students tomorrow morning before school starts. Any other students who wish to be tested may also do so at this time. We are still strongly recommending testing for students in Ms. Lisa's class. Students in Ms. Maraya's class are also welcome to do testing if they would like. Please contact the Sherwood Office at 707-984-6769 if you have any questions. Thank you and have a good evening.
