Hello Sherwood Families. Tomorrow is our Ukiah on Ice field trip. Please remember that you must pick up your student at the Willits City Park at 2:30 p.m. There will be no additional bus services tomorrow afternoon. If you are a parent who is planning on attending this event as a volunteer, please contact the school office if you have not already done so. All volunteers must have fingerprint clearance from the district office and have a rapid Covid test completed before the field trip. Testing can be done tomorrow morning when you drop off your student. Please note that this is a private event and the skating rink will be closed to the public while we are there. Only Sherwood students, staff and volunteers will be allowed entrance. Thank you and have a great evening.

Hello Sherwood Families. We would like to wish you a very happy upcoming Thanksgiving Break. There will be no school from November 22nd to November 26th. Report cards for Ms. Lisa will be mailed home on this Friday. Ms. Julie's report cards will be sent home with your student on Friday in their backpacks. Due to a technical issue the report cards for Ms. Marissa's class will be mailed home after the break. Friday will be a fun dress up day. Please send your student to school in their favorite fun hat for Hat Day! Please have a restful and safe vacation.

Good evening Sherwood Families. We would like to remind you that our FOSSI raffle drawing is this coming Friday, November 12th and will be held at 12:45. Raffle tickets may be sold up until Friday. Please make sure all raffle tickets are sent in no later than Friday morning. There is no school on Thursday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day. There will be school on Friday, November 12th. As we move into more cold and wet weather, please make sure you are sending your students to school in weather appropriate clothing. You may also wish to consider sending in an extra set of clothes for them to have at school incase they get wet or muddy. Our first trimester is quickly wrapping up. Report cards will be sent home with students or mailed home on November 19th. Thank you and have a good evening.

Good evening Sherwood Families. Today your student was sent home with an Educational Benefits Form printed on bright orange paper for you to fill out. Parents were previously sent a link in their email to complete this form, but not many were completed on line. Your students need your help. They have educational needs that are provided for through funding that is tied directly to this form, from both federal and state sources, and we have a deadline. Please fill this form out and have your student return it to the office by tomorrow, October 27th. When they return it, they will be given a reward for the quick turnaround. Thank you so much for your help with this!

Good evening Sherwood Families. Tomorrow on Thursday, October 21st, we will be having our regular monthly FOSSI Meeting. We will be meeting at the Sherwood picnic tables directly after school at 2:30 p.m. Thank you and hope to see you there!

Good evening Sherwood Families. This message is for parents who pick up their students from school. Over the next few weeks we will be using the school drive way area for our P.E. lessons. Please do not pull into the school driveway until after 2:20 p.m. The bus will be parking at the very entrance of the school until it is time to pick up students. Please do not pull in until the bus parks in it's loading spot. This is for every day of the week, except Tuesdays when we do not have P.E. Thank for keeping our students safe.

If you have any of the following symptoms please call the office to reschedule your appointment. Good Afternoon Sherwood Families, In an abundance of caution the FOSSI meeting will not be held onsite today. It will be rescheduled due to the positive COVID case that we had at our site. Good evening Sherwood Families. On Monday, September 6th, there will be no school in honor of Labor Day. We have some up coming events in September that we would like you to know about. On September 16th there will be a FOSSI meeting at 2:45 p.m. We will be meeting in person at the Sherwood School picnic tables. For those of you who are new to Sherwood, FOSSI is our Parent Teacher Organization. September 29th will be our School Picture Day. We will be sending home ordering information later in the month. Please remember that Sherwood School is a tree nut and peanut free school. Please do not send any nut products to school with your student. Thank you and have a wonderful three day weekend.
